McNamara Park is family owned, and we keep it small on purpose, so every horse and every beast gets looked at properly, every day.

Tucked away on Bellvue Road at Mindaribba, the property is where our family does what we know best: looking after horses, racing them under McNamara & Sons Racing, and breeding quality Lowline cattle under MHJ.

Whether you need a safe paddock for your horse, a quiet place for a mare to foal down, or you're after Lowline genetics for your own herd, you'll be dealing with our family, the same people who are out in the paddocks every day.

The equine side

Horses

Horses of all breeds are welcome. Each one is checked daily, fed to suit and moved through rested pasture, so they come back to you in good order.

  • Agistment

    Secure paddocks, pasture rotation, daily welfare checks and a feeding program that suits your horse.

  • Broodmare & foaling

    Attentive care from conception right through to weaning, with experienced hands at every stage.

  • Stud services

    Careful bloodline selection and full support for your mare's program.

Racing is part of the family too. McNamara & Sons Racing is our family's racing team, based here at McNamara Park.

The cattle side

MHJLowline cattle

MHJ is our cattle stud. We breed Australian Lowline cattle with good records behind every animal. They're quiet, efficient and easy to manage, which is why we like them.

  • Lowline genetics

    Stud genetics backed by careful breeding and detailed herd records. Livestock available to approved buyers.

  • Herd management

    Nutrition, health monitoring, condition scoring and pasture rotation all year round.

The property is set up around the animals in our care, with roomy paddocks, proper shelter and yards built for both horses and cattle.
